Oracle Fusion Middleware Engineer
A successful individual will work on the ongoing functional support and improvement of my clients current infrastructure.
Rate: £500 – £550 per day
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Status: Inside IR35
As a Fusion Middleware Support Engineer, you will have the following Responsibilities:
Supporting a 24-hour and 7-day a week production environment with SLA’s.
Manage and resolve issues in relation to Fusion Middleware Products
Lifecycle management including automation and maintenance
Meeting the infrastructure requirements of new projects and overseeing their progress to business as usual applications.
Install/configure/manage/monitor Oracle Fusion Middleware products
Troubleshooting Fusion Middleware
Using DevOps processes and tools to provide smooth transactions for both builds and the application lifecycle process.
Patching of all Fusion middleware components
Meeting the infrastructure requirements of new projects and overseeing their progress to business as usual applications.
As a Fusion Middleware Support Engineer, you will have the following Experience:
You will ideally come from an Oracle support background and be able to provide evidence of experience of providing functional support within a Fusion Middleware Oracle SOA and middleware environment with the following skills:
Experience with some of the following products: Oracle Webcenter Suite12c, Oracle SOA Suite12c, Weblogic, Portal, UCM, SOA, OSB, BAM, BPM and Oracle webforms
Knowledge and experience of DevOps and using products like JIRA, GITHUB and MYST.
Experience of building & deploy using Continuous Integration Frameworks
Experience of Oracle Middleware infrastructure Installations/Configuration in Multi node Clustered Environments.
Good Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
Previous Experience in Production support and supporting development teams
Good communication skills, written & verbal
Good problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
