Role:
The Retail Pricing department are responsible for all aspects of dealer finance packages, from pricing through to the payment of commission and the creation of campaign plans.
This is a varied operational position with an emphasis on the preparation of dealer rates, residual value forecasting, and campaign set ups. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to interpret and analyse data and present findings in a logical manner.
Main Responsibilities:
- Input of dealer rates and terms packages into the system
- Creation of dealer pricing reviews
- Prepare monthly margin and return on assets calculations
- Provide content for various Pricing and Residual Value committees
- Setup of campaign plans, and provide related support to internal customers
- Assist with the production of Support Commission accruals
- Preparation of monthly residual value data and competitor analysis.
- Maintain dealer rates and contact details for third party finance calculators.
- Support the testing of the new core banking system
- Assist with the documentation of new procedures.
Qualifications, skills and experience required/desirable:
- Experience in an automotive retail finance role would be advantageous
- Organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Demonstrate ability to use databases and spreadsheets (MS Access and Excel), at an advanced level. To be able to create new reports from scratch.
- Analytical mind capable of interpreting data and understanding dealer packages quickly.
