Ensure customers’ expectations are managed throughout the entire project engagement lifecycle such that they will be minded to place repeat business with Sony and that our reputation is enhanced in the marketplace.

To support the Bid Management Team as a subject matter expert by contributing project management deliverables into the bid process.

Develop and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders including; customers, suppliers and internally within Sony.

Ensure escalations are raised in a timely manner

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that relevant contractual obligations are fulfilled, quality and risks are controlled, including regular reporting, notifications, contract variations and that relationships and communication are maintained with all key stakeholders

Leadership and supervision of project resource as required to execute the project plan.

Working together with relevant Sony departments and third-party suppliers to ensure their contribution towards achieving the expected project outcomes.

Project start-up: PIDs to be published and agreed by all stakeholders.
-
Regular customer and internal project reporting to be maintained up to date.

Ensuring regular project risk reviews are held internally and risk and issues are actively managed.

Handover of successful completed projects to the Support Team with agreement regarding which parties are responsible for the closure of all open issues / exceptions.

Adherence to best practice following internal and where required other relevant recognized tools and techniques.

Supporting the Bid Management Team with expert contribution during specific bids, to include Project Gantt Chart, Project Delivery Description, Services & Materials Estimates, Project Delivery Risk Analysis & Mitigation, QA Review, etc.

Supporting the development and continuous improvement of PMO internal processes, procedures and forms.

Willingness to travel significantly across Europe and Japan
Qualifications & Experience
-
Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics Degree or equivalent (Broadcast Technology, Software or Electronics,…)
-
Fluent in English verbally & written.
-
Significant demonstrable experience in Project Management role ideally in Media, Broadcast or IT Industry. Experience of successful Programme Management preferable.

Significant demonstrable experience in the Media Industry

Cloud computing experience
-
PMI, Prince 2 Practitioner and / or MSP practitioner / advanced practitioner, Prince2 Agile
-
Experienced practitioner of MS Project or equivalent
-
PC literate with excellent document presentation skills; PowerPoint, Excel, Word and report writing skills.
