The Resourcing Manager is responsible for organizing people and teams, to effectively utilize and leverage appropriate resources to align with business strategy. This individual also involves in managing and monitoring resource productivity targets in order to fulfill resources demands at the right time to meet client needs.
As a Resource Manager, the broad area of your job responsibilities will cover the following:
Resourcing Planning & Strategy
- Provide methodologies and best practices in areas of resource estimation, sourcing, mobilization and retention.
- Establish resource management measurement metrics such as billability, time to resource, turnaround time for CV and staff redeployment
- Anticipate and address skills shortages, excess capacity and client project resource requirements on a regular and timely basis
- Understand the internal and external talent landscape of the business group and anticipate challenges relating to workforce planning purposes
- Understand short-term and mid-term business expansion plans so to develop a talent supply strategy for the Line of Business which includes Capacity Planning, Talent Planning and Skills Development
Resource Management
- Validate resource demands, determine the channels of fulfillment
- Match resource requirement by competency and skillset, job grade and job role
- Consolidate external hiring requests and seek management for approval
- Manage resource metrics to ensure productivity across the delivery centres and achieve high resource utilization
- Track internal and external resourcing performance and handle bench management
Ideal candidate should possess the following:
- More than 8 years of experience in resource management or recruiting or similar HR role in a global management consulting or technology services company
- Strong analytic skills
- Ability to build relationships across the organization to facilitate both staffing (on the business side) and capability building (on the support side) activities
- Familiar with IT project management methodologies and tools is a plus
