The Balance Sheet Hedging & Cover Pool department has the following core competencies:
- Balance sheet hedging (IAS 39 hedge accounting, UGB hedge accounting, fair value option, parent account management)
- Competence Center for the cover pools of Erste Group Bank AG
- Competence center on the subject of credit claims for the holding company and parts of the savings bank sector
Your tasks
- Checking EBÖ loans for their suitability as collateral for credit claims at the Austrian National Bank or Deutsche Bundesbank (using the SAS, Cockpit and FAN systems)
- Submission of promissory note loans to the Deutsche Bundesbank via MAC and Swift
- Participation in on-site inspections with S-PV / OeNB
- Contact person for relationship managers for questions about the central bank eligibility of non-marketable assets
Your background
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business informatics / banking / business administration
- Independent, structured and reliable working style
- Very good MS Office knowledge (especially MS Excel)
- Interest and ability to acquire knowledge in SAS Visual Analytics, Giro and FAN
- Interest in topics in the area of credit / loans, borrower’s note loans and willingness to examine credit agreements
- Fluent in German, very good knowledge of English
