Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing and driving the insurance business for Sales & Distribution in achieving the business targets by taking the overall management of Insurance sales, services & compliance; formulating business strategies, leading a team of Insurance Sales Managers in managing and driving Insurance business, execution of customer and sales programs, monitoring of frontline sales practice in accordance to internal and regulatory governance.

Responsibilities

• Formulate effective strategies for business growth and development for insurance sales and services.
• Drive insurance business by frequently providing market intelligence for developing customer driven sales programs based on identified customer segments, customers’ needs and market developments.
• Lead a team of insurance sales managers to implement business plans for driving insurance sales and services in achieving the Bank’s business target.
• Lead the team to tailor made coaching programs to front line sales staff and branch operation staff on insurance related sales, servicing and relationship building skill.
• Identify new business opportunities and work with external business partners to manage insurance service provided, product selection and customer penetration.
• Drive compliance to regulatory requirement and internal guideline with on-going review and analysis of sales behavior and pattern. Ensure process and procedures are executed effectively at frontline.

Requirements

• Degree holder or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in insurance services or sales management gained from retail banking field.
• Strong analytical mind and proactive.
• Possess CFP / CFA / HKRFP qualification as well as IIQAS and other required qualifications under SFC for selling insurance and investment products
• Good interpersonal and people management skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
