Your Impact
Reporting to the Data Governance and Quality Lead, the Master Data Analysts role will incorporate processes, policies, guidelines and responsibilities to administer Asahi’s entire data in compliance with policies and/or regulatory obligations.
This role will see you responsible for ensuring all master data is monitored and maintained. You will ensure overall quality of data including defining, investigating, and resolving data quality issues, increasing enterprise data quality and reliability through continuous master data management process improvement and monitoring through data quality metrics.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for data quality and data accuracy in the source systems across all Asahi’s Australian and New Zealand business units for Material Master Data
- Identify areas for data quality improvements
- Reviewing and governing data queries, issues and escalations
- Develop, implement, and maintain the policies, procedures, processes, artefacts, documents, and training materials
- Defining standards and best practices for data analysis, modelling, and queries
- Development and maintenance of an enterprise data dictionary
- Define and implement enterprise data quality and reliability by identifying and recommending continuous improvement initiatives to the Data Governance and Quality Lead
- Work with business stakeholders and other service vendors to deliver consistent services
About You
- Business systems degree or equivalent preferable but not essential
- SAP system knowledge – Dynamics advantageous
- 2+ years’ experience in a master data analyst role
- FMCG or manufacturing industry experience
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
