Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Business Development
Executive for our Corporate Technology & IP
team in Europe. This team manages the
commercialization of IBM technology assets during
the full transaction life cycle from identification to
close. The team is covering the full spectrum of
IBM technologies from quantum computing, AI,
blockchain, cloud, and hardware.

Your Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to identity and lead
high-impact projects requiring your creativity and
prior experience in identifying business
opportunities, structuring, and managing IP deals
The candidate will be responsible for working with
Intellectual Property, Research, and business unit
leadership to identify business opportunities and
developing commercialization models for
technology assets with third-party companies. The
commercialization models may include licensing,
joint development, asset sales, divestitures but
also partnerships involving other IBM
organizations. The candidate will create the
business vision for a technology, establish C-level
relationships with industry players, lead a deal,
and assemble and manage a cross-functional deal
team focused on specific transactions or
technologies in AI and cloud
