REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, and EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years demonstrated experience as a Sales Manager, Inside Sales Manager, Account Manager, and/or a Sales Engineer; selling technology based hardware or related products.
- Ability to work well with a team; leads the team in responding to Customer needs with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote presentation tools. Ability to quickly learn new software.
- Possess analytical and problem solving skills.
- Possess excellent mathematical skills, quickly able to calculate client quotations.
EDUCATION:
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or other Technical/Business education background combination. (Advanced Engineering degree a plus but not required).
- Business degree, certification, or focus in combination with an Engineering degree is a plus.
OTHER:
- Must be organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Successful candidate thrives under pressure, is resilient and tenacious while being respectful; reflects a nimble and energetic approach.
- Military experience and/or understanding of government requirements helpful but not required.
- Eligibility to obtain Department of Defense “DOD” Security Clearance in the future.
