About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
EKFB Are looking to recruit a Technical Administrator.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and govern central database System Engineering Modelling (SEMs) with engagement within wider EK team to ensure plans and evidence are up to date following the right Work Information process and governance.
- Implement early engagement with U&A owners to ensure commitments can be met and complied with factoring in funding requirements with the client
- Work with the Work Package Managers (WPM) to identify Undertakings and Assurances for their scope of works, as well as supporting on associated requirements
- Support the WPM and supply chain to embed the U&As into their works and provide evidence of compliance
- The correct onboarding of new employees, line managers and supply chain will need to be supported with the relevant induction and training for U&As.
- On site quality assurance and targeted audits to ensure site teams are adhering to processes.
- Support with performance monitoring to ensure in line with works information strategic plan, root cause analysis on key performance issues with regular reporting.
- Support with any non-compliance investigations, ensuring process is followed updating all the relevant systems, providing tool box talks and lessons learnt.
- Support ongoing U&A portal development and administration, keep Intranet page up to date
- Own queries with wider end user
- Manage day to day administration using SharePoint/BIMXtra.
About You
- Good communication and negotiation skills at all levels for buy in and engagement
- Strong organisational and facilitation skills
- Ability to analyse and problem solve
- Ability to interpret complex technical information to make practical business judgement
- Ability to build strong relations internally and externally
- Can work in an independent way when on-site visits
- IT skills – Office, SharePoint, Document Management Systems, awareness of GIS platforms
- Worked in a compliance /governance role
- Can interpret complex technical information to simple guidance for the end user
- Good attention to detail
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Quick learner and can adapt to new systems and processes quickly
- Your current role maybe in a highways, utilities or contracting environment within street works, planning or similar discipline.
