The Marketing Optimization Analyst will support the UK Seller Success team by tracking performance of our Marketing strategy for our advertising product for sellers. He/she will be responsible for tracking performance, understanding trends, identifying opportunities and delivering actionable insights. This role will be based in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyse marketing performance (reach, effectiveness and impact) to implement test & learn best practices
  • Analyse and improve our targeting strategy (who to target and which channel to use) by looking at multiple dimensions (usage, opportunity, competition, seasonality, gap analysis…)
  • Think strategically (in conjunction with Seller Success team) how to improve and evolve the segmentation and then coordinate with analytics implementation and plan
  • Support in analyzing country’s trends to spot issues/opportunities and to improve our forecast
  • Coordinate with other analytics team (mostly Global Ads Analytics)
  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and data-mining to tell the story behind numbers and derive actionable insights
  • Think and work independently, demonstrate creativity and deliver quick results, yet demonstrate a team-player attitude

Requirements:

  • MS/PhD in Statistics, Economics or Engineering
  • Strong analytical skills, SQL competences
  • Business acumen and permanent customer focus
  • Team player attitude with interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organisation, rigor and attention to details
  • Innovative, solution-oriented mindset
  • Good energy and drive, ability to work in a fast-paced and pressurized environment
  • Fluent in English
