Accounting Specialist

The successful candidate will be reporting to General administration & Controlling manager and collaborating with other company functions e.g. with the Business Support Center area located in Poland

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Interface with the Business Support Center and verification of the correct bookkeeping and tax compliance
  • Monthly closing activities and preparation of the annual budget, including the management of relations with auditors and statutory auditors
  • Management of receivables from customers, in particular: past due analysis, verification of compliance with credit limits, maintaining relations with credit insurance, sending reminders and support to the BSC for invoicing / recording of receipts and other relevant documents
  • Management of tax aspects with the support of PwC: VAT, withholding taxes, direct taxes and other taxes
  • Coordination with other company functions in the management of claims, in particular analysis of administrative documentation, sending to the competent internal function and final verification of correct accounting registration
  • Support in accounting for personnel costs
  • Approval of Area payable invoices, in particular verification of their correctness and accounting attribution
  • Management and control of payment proposals, support in local treasury activities and interface with Group functions
  • Support in the forecasting and budgeting process, including the monthly analysis of variances
  • Support and participation in the preparation process of the National Document on Transfer Pricing
  • Participation in Group projects concerning the updating of control procedures on business processes

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the accounting area, with expertise in monthly reporting and annual financial statements, direct and indirect taxation, social security obligations
  • Degree in Economics/Administration
  • Fluent knowledge of the English and Italian languages
