As an Equipment Engineer in Micron’s Research and Development group, you will ensure all fab support systems are installed, commissioned and handed over to production while maintaining the highest levels of safety and efficiency. Working with tool owners, support personnel, facilities and suppliers, you will own responsibility for tool installs and equipment startups.

 

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Manage PAC install projects from project kickoff to full commissioning
  • Manage and coordinate SAP workorders for CIP or other activities
  • Assist and document start-up issues identified during project testing
  • Initial setup of equipment startups and establish PAC equipment information in ETO
  • Installation/Setup of tool network hardware
  • Identify opportunities to optimize installation business process

 

Successful candidates must have the following qualifications:

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in Project Management and/or equipment installs, plus safety HAZOP or FMEA analysis
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; good verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proven ability in multi-tasking complex projects and enjoy working in a fast pace environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to drive complex projects to completion
  • Strong knowledge of Fab Support Operations
  • Ability to understand schematics and have a strong mechanical aptitude
  • A B.S. or M.S. in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics plus 2+ years of engineering experience, or 4+ years of project management and/or tool installs experience.
