Responsibilities:
- Translate a vision for digital marketing into a coherent digital marketing strategy to drive growth for the BJ’s omni business
- Develop customer acquisition & engagement strategy to ensure growth objectives are met across critical target segments, including the optimization of the digital channel mix (SEO/SEM, display, retargeting, affiliates) designed to achieve profitable funnel conversion, CAC, AOV and LTV objectives
- Partner with experience and engineering teams on conversion rate optimization & SEO roadmap
- Oversee digital marketing calendar, channel strategy, ad copy, and creative used within marketing across channels, working closely with a manager to provide guidance and support
- Develop and optimize digital marketing programs that increase the LTV by enhancing the journey, and increasing engagement
- Develop an understanding of all sources of customer data and partner with the analytics teams to optimize how this data is used to inform and shape the digital marketing strategy and tactical efforts
- Cross functional partnership to support integrated marketing efforts and strategic organizational objectives
- Utilize leadership and agile design thinking to stimulate and sustain relevant digital innovation and a robust test and learn culture that learns, fails, pivots and optimizes quickly
- Lead and manage a team of eCommerce specialist and digital marketing manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field, with 6-8 years of experience
- The candidate must be experienced and comfortable reporting results and educating all levels of management in the area of digital marketing
- Strategic thinker with ability to lead and apply strategy
- Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers
