Executive Change and Implementation Manager

The role:

As the Executive Manager – Change Management & Implementation, you will be accountable for leading the Insurance change management practice, supporting project execution with the design and delivery of robust change management strategies, implementation management including release scheduling, support and testing.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Leadership of the Change Management practice for our Insurance business.
  • Ownership and championing of best in class change management strategies and practices.
  • Partner with Insurance Leaders to bring thought leadership and continuous improvement to our change management approaches.
  • Leadership for the Testing and Release Management function for the Insurance Project Portfolio.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, efficiency and quality uplift in testing and release management practices.
  • Influence the adoption of Test Automation Frameworks, including tool selection in delivery teams, leveraging existing Group practices in Test Automation
  • Work across the Insurance Projects team to intergrate best practice change management, testing and release plans into proejct delivery
  • Actively Lead and develop the Insurance Projects delivery practice

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology and/or Business or equivalent industry experience highly desired
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in project and portfolio management
  • Minimum 8-10 years of people leadership experience
  • Proven track record of driving capability uplift
  • Strong people leadership experience and a proven track record in leading high performing teams
  • Proven experience in project and program delivery
  • Expert knowledge of Change and Project Management methods
  • Proved experience in agile delivery frameworks and methodologies
  • Solid commercial acumen
  • Expert stakeholder management skills
  • Skilled ability to handle complexity and uncertainty
  • Flexibility and resilience in responding to multiple changing priorities
  • Systematic and disciplined approach to planning, organising, decision making and delegation
  • Skilled ability to work in a dynamic leadership team, contributing to the overall goals of the group
