Supply Chain Project Coordinator

The Project Co-Ordinator GSC Enterprise Development is a key role within the Global Supply Chain organization in Alexion Pharmaceuticals.  As Alexion continues to expand its commercial portfolio during 2021 and with many new planned product launches over the next three years, this role is a key support to ensuring that the Grow, Serve and Connect Strategy within Global Supply Chain is developed to ensure that achieve our missions to innovative solutions that transform lives. As part of the Enterprise Development Team you will be expected to bring a strategic mindset, in addition to proven project management experience, strong communication and excellent collaboration skills.  Direct experience in project managing of cross functional initiatives is essential. This role will have responsibilities for coordinating the key strategic projects across the end to to end Supply Chain and will work closely with leaders from Alexion’s Global Operations, Quality, Product Development, Business Development, Finance, Commercial, R&D, clinical to ensure that key strategic projects are completed as required.  This is a tremendous opportunity for a candidate with a strong business acumen coupled with intellectual curiosity to drive and influence the business.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Co-ordination key strategic projects linked to the Grow, Serve, Connect strategy in Global Supply Chain
  • Lead the planning and development of numerous events related to culture, communications, leadership, and talent development across Global Supply Chain
  • Support the preparation, analyses, and review of content/data for executive leadership review and endorsement
  • Develop close working relationships at all levels of Global Supply Chain and in all departments to ensure the best in class governance process exist for key initiatives
  • Support the Global Supply Chain Leadership with any ad hoc requests
  • Project managing executive meeting preparation and creation of executive meeting materials
  • Co-ordinating monthly dashboards to track changes in key metrics
  • Drafting speeches. announcements and presentations
  • Overseeing diversity and culture initiatives
  • Defining and researching new enterprise ideas and opportunities

    Required Experience / Qualifications
     

  • 3+ years Global Supply Chain/Project Management experience
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills & digitalisation experience
  • Ability to quickly establish strong, effective and enduring partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong strategic mindset to ensure that global supply chain optimization is at the core of all decision making
  • Strong organizational, change management, problem solving and leadership skills
  • Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Project Management
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
