Job Description

Your Role
  • Identify vulnerabilities in automotive electronic control units(ECU’s) through penetration testing.
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Understanding of product and identifying necessary tools and techniques
  • Collect information to be used for vulnerability assessment
  • Perform assessment for the purpose of threat modeling.
  • Perform vulnerability analysis
  • Perform penetration test from the point of view of an ethical hacking.
  • Test reporting, defect tracking and recommend resolution.
  • Mentor or train team on cybersecurity principles
  • Develop test framework as per cybersecurity standards
  • Research on new technology and test methods.

Your Background

Required skills in some of the following technologies/techniques:

  • Wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
  • Communication protocols (CAN/CANFD, Ethernet, USB)
  • Device Operating systems (QNX, Linux, Android)
  • Threat modelling and vulnerability analysis
  • Security risk assessment
  • Reverse engineering
  • Penetration testing

Preferred skills in some of the following:

  • Certification on cybersecurity domain related to penetration testing
  • AUTOSAR framework
  • Cryptography principles, applications and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of domain specific standards ( ISO 21434, J3061) or other security standards.
