Job Description
- Identify vulnerabilities in automotive electronic control units(ECU’s) through penetration testing.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding of product and identifying necessary tools and techniques
- Collect information to be used for vulnerability assessment
- Perform assessment for the purpose of threat modeling.
- Perform vulnerability analysis
- Perform penetration test from the point of view of an ethical hacking.
- Test reporting, defect tracking and recommend resolution.
- Mentor or train team on cybersecurity principles
- Develop test framework as per cybersecurity standards
- Research on new technology and test methods.
Your Background
Required skills in some of the following technologies/techniques:
- Wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
- Communication protocols (CAN/CANFD, Ethernet, USB)
- Device Operating systems (QNX, Linux, Android)
- Threat modelling and vulnerability analysis
- Security risk assessment
- Reverse engineering
- Penetration testing
Preferred skills in some of the following:
- Certification on cybersecurity domain related to penetration testing
- AUTOSAR framework
- Cryptography principles, applications and implementation.
- Working knowledge of domain specific standards ( ISO 21434, J3061) or other security standards.
