Your role
In this role you are a Senior Sourcing Manager in the IT Sourcing team:
Min 10-15 years Supply chain/partner management/sourcing/procurement and IT experience needed. Candidate is senior, experienced, a strong leader with very high business values. This role can be located in Finland, Sweden or other relevant Fortum country depending on the most capable candidate.

Monitors supplier performance and creates development plans, supports IT strategy implementation with the team, creates procurement category strategy to reach IT goals and objectives, takes ownership of shared targets with IT. Leads and participates in key IT Supplier projects, leads transformation, integration projects. Participates in sub commodity strategy creation and/or implementation, in sourcing strategy along
with IT & Telecom solutions strategy.

• Develops and manages supplier relationships in own area, works strongly with other teams to leverage spend and work on end to end solutions.
• Ensures presence in the relevant instances and governance bodies.
• Ensures on due time, proper communication to executives as critical / delicate situations or arbitrages come.
• Supports and coaches other team members in complex issues, negotiations and acts as a source of Sourcing expertise to others.
• Develops collaboration, project mode & cross fertilization across the IT Sourcing practices.

Job Description:

• Responsibility for creation and/or implementation, update and execution of category strategy in responsibility area.
• Working in and/or leading across functional teams (virtual teams) and strongly within the IT organization.
• Responsible for developing end to end demand management concepts, considering TCO approaches, in close alignment with internal stakeholders.
• Working across categories and category groups to ensure optimization of end to end processes according to total value chain.
• Supplier base management and supplier performance management as well as Supplier performance in responsibility area (act as Supplier Manager to assigned suppliers).
• Management of supplier selection process in responsibility area.
• Proactively provides updates to internal customers on procurement strategy, supplier strategy, technology and market trends.
• Aware about latest trends on Technologies, Automation and Process Innovation within specific segments of Professional services, Application development & Maintenance delivery as well as SW practices and evolution (e.g. SaaS, PaaS, Agile, DevOps…).

Your qualifications
• Experience in IT & Sourcing/Procurement is a MUST, min 10 – 15 years, legal experience is an additional value
• Working experience in IT operations and/or IT vendor management is also an advantage
• Global IT & Telecom market, contracting, negotiations, knowledge, proven experience is essential and a must for this position
• Experience on outsourcing, leading company-wide cost reduction programs, transformation projects is critical
• 5y+ Lead Experience in a Software/Licensing area is a must
• High sense of diplomacy and fact based thinking for thorough and analytic qualification of complex situation / Post-Mortem reports.
• Legal background is a plus
• Proactive, sense of ownership and good Project Management skills including Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen knowledge is a clear advantage
• Self-motivated, Challenge & target oriented with Cost analysis and management capabilities
• Decision making oriented
• Understanding procurement savings reporting, procurement target setting, procurement systems, Procurement Savings Reporting understanding is a clear advantage
• Leadership and management skills & experience
• Demonstrated negotiation skills in complex environment.
• e2e supply chain understanding
• Understand Business cases, Financial / accounting implications
• Fluent in English is a must, fluency in Swedish, Finnish and German is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
