The opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Officer to join the NSW Workers Compensation Claims team and help meet our 2021 strategic initiative goals.
In this role you will support our Managed Fund claims teams by implementing and giving effect to contractual governance requirements. You will apply your specialist skills in conducting file reviews and implementing other quality assurance techniques and tools. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will use your skillset to, amongst other things:
- Undertake QA reviews to assess Case Manager output and ensure QBE meets legislative requirements
- Analyse and present findings (including risk items) from file reviews, as well as deliver internal reporting requirements
- Provide positive and constructive feedback and coaching to Case Managers on review outcomes
- Where required, participate in regulatory forums and provide updates to relevant management teams
- Where required undertake Quality reviews assessing QBE’s adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate compliance with relevant laws, regulations, licenses, industry codes, and company policies
