About the Role:
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible to effectively manage the accounting, management, and financial records of the farm by implementing company policies and procedures, outlining areas for improvements, advising farm management on key issues on possible cost savings, and ensuring that appropriate internal controls are working to safeguard company’s assets.
Potential candidates must have the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or its equivalent
- 8 years of total work experience – Must be in a supervisory level in last 3 years –
- Must be computer literate with extensive knowledge of Excel spreadsheet.
Experienced in: (including but not limited)
- Ensure to supervise the fair and overall presentation to farm management and outside parties.
- Ensure to implement company policies and procedures and to ensure consistency in the application of the same in all areas within the farm.
- Ensure to discuss and present the results of operations to management during management review meetings at the farm level, highlighting any issues and concerns that need resolution to attain if not favorably surpass budget and target projections.
- Reviewing of the general ledger entries in SAP to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the figures as presented.
- Giving advice and opinions on financial matters affecting the operations of the farms.
