Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, dedicated Sr Supply Planning Manager to join our exciting, fast paced team in Seattle, WA. Our team is growing and if you are equally passionate about supply chain, e-commerce and career growth, an opportunity at Chewy may be a great match!
You will be responsible for developing a purchasing strategy, in stock strategy, short term to long term supply plans to drive best-in-class inventory in-stock position. You will partner with category leaders, sourcing/manufacturing leaders, and external partners to develop plans that balance multiple priorities while maximizing CX at optimal cost. You will also get to solve complex problems like improving global fill rates, optimizing lead times, and lower working capital.

What You’ll Do

- Manage all aspects of ecommerce supply planning for our Proprietary Brands business.
- Develop long term and short term purchasing and supply planning strategies and plans.
- Integrate with forecasting, finances, manufacturing and transportation to deliver on industry leading inventory service levels.
- Develop and deploy purchasing and inventory plans across vendors in multiple countries.
- Drive analytical problem solving to improve the inputs for supply planning.
- Work with external vendors to improve fill rates, reduce lead time and drive high in-stock levels.
What You’ll Need
-
- BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Business Management.
- years of supply chain experience especially in supply and demand planning.
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional stake holders, influence decisions, and recommend a course of action based on data analytics.
- Drive automation of planning process and provide recommendations for systems improvements.
- Detail oriented and possess superior organizational, self-motivation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge in purchasing, forecasting and inventory management systems.
- Solid understanding of data analysis including advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL or Tableau.
- A proven leader with a track record of delivering results.
- Position may require travel.
