Digital QA Analyst

We are searching for a Digital QA Analyst to ensure the quality of digital technologies prior to deployment to our customers, through creation and execution of test plans utilizing both manual and automated environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning
    • Work with the product owner and development teams to determine testing plan for future releases
    • Maintain library of test scripts, both manual and automated
    • Assist developers in learning what tests need to be covered by unit tests
    • Participate in project meetings, daily scrums and product planning sessions.
  • Test Execution
    • Execute manual and automated test scripts against kiosk, mobile, web and restaurant applications and hardware
    • Report defects found during testing
    • Assist in managing a fleet of test devices and their test builds
    • Work with our security team to validate findings of PEN and security testing
  • Production Support
    • Act as an escalation point for our customer helpdesk
    • Certify restaurant hardware
    • Provide inputs to training material
    • Define and Implement process improvements for the QA function as well as process flow and UI for 3rd party software

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • 3+ years QA/BA experience
  • Experience
    • Ability to work well in a dynamic, flexible team environment
    • Must be a resourceful and proactive self-starter
    • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures
    • Ability to stay flexible and solution-oriented
    • Experience with Jira or Microsoft DevOps
    • Experience with automation tools including or not including SmartBear or SoapUI
    • Experience with Postman or similar product
