YOUR OPPORTUNITY 

Our commitment to leverage strategic analysis has taken on even greater importance in today’s competitive environment. We are seeking a leader to help us realize a critical transformation that will propel us to utilize data analytics as an essential tool to identify proactive opportunities to grow our business and the categories we participate in, risk factors and solutions to overcome them and actionable insights to help us meet and surpass financial targets.

In this role you will lead the data and analytics strategy for the Pet or Food & Beverage sales team while developing talent, processes, tools and systems to establish a culture supporting the Company’s continued commitment to leveraging advanced analytics to inform decision making.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field

• At least 10 years of leadership experience, preferably in CPG, overseeing large cross-functional teams; an understanding of the evolving retail environment; strong relationship skills across all levels; sound financial acumen; and a proven track record leveraging advanced analytics to drive continuous improvement

• A proven track record of influencing key decisions by demonstrating organizational agility, an ability to collaborate effectively, strong executive presence, a commitment to creativity and innovation and exceptional presentation skills

• Proven experience in commercial analytics including advanced Excel methods, data visualization, R or Python statistical programming and Structured Query Language (SQL)

• Success in enabling teams to understand, analyze, interpret, and articulate relevant intelligence and data that can be commercialized to drive progress

• A passion for taking on the challenge of establishing and executing a vision while building a team, developing necessary capabilities and formalizing processes to support continuity

• A desire to teach, coach and mentor their team and the larger organization around effectively utilizing advanced analytics to deliver actionable insights and utilizing these to enhance our retailer relationships by offering greater category and consumer intelligence

• Confidence in championing insights based on data that can support issue resolution and proactive opportunities to drive improvement while helping the team to stay ahead of trends for effective long-term planning

• A relentless commitment to personal learning and a passion to support the continued growth and development of their team, as well as throughout the multi-functional team, to embed data driven mindset within the organization.
