Business Process Analyst – Integrated Sales Planning

The Role:

In this collaborative role, you will maximize business performance by being an objective, trusted partner across sales, BU and Marketing organizations. You will support efforts to create, oversee and improve core Sales business processes for Design Win and NPI processes at AMD.

Key Responsibilities:

You will help build business processes and associated metrics that enable effective introduction of new AMD products and sales pursuit of new PC and Server system designs for the future. You will work on gap analysis and reporting, and use your creativity in problem solving.

  • Partners with Business Operations Process owners to support sustainability and scalability of processes through:
  • Creation of and consistent delivery of critical metric reporting including process adherence, hygiene, and readiness to drive global process standards
  • Providing continuous feedback loop to process owners on areas for process improvement in efficiency or effectiveness and stakeholder challenges or roadblocks via data
  • Identifying key metrics to measure performance of process and allow team to be scalable for future growth
  • Analyzing data and KPIs for Sales processes and provide recommendations on analysis insights
  • Performing gap analysis and identify areas for improvement
  • Working with process users to ensure compliance to process standards
  • Providing education and training on owned processes where necessary
  • Balances urgent and effective action, commitment to excellence, and taking initiative to resolve problems; holding internal stakeholders accountable where appropriate
  • Facilitates periodic process reviews and creates Lessons Learned packages for use by global Business Management team in continuous improvement efforts
  • Supports reporting and analysis around annual planning, forecasting, pipeline, and sales incentives
  • Manages communications from ISP group including process calendars

Preferred Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience, preferably in related industry, within a global Business Management or Sales Operations team
  • Power User in MS Excel & PowerPoint, and experience with Salesforce reporting strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to convey messages in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
  • Strong critical, creative, and analytical thinking with innovative problem solving skills with ability to work on complex problems

Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
