The Military Supply Support Analyst is responsible for contractual metrics and timely execution of customer orders to meet targeted performance and revenue. This position will perform material availability analysis and reviews to maintain required inventory stock levels throughout the supply chain network. The candidate will work to proactively identify and resolve potential material delinquencies and revenue losses. This role will have full responsibility to coordinate corrective action plans to resolve supply fulfillment issues by collaborating with appropriate COE stakeholders for supply resolutions. The individual in this role must be able to professionally interact and present to all levels of the organization. This role will monitor and provide daily, monthly, and weekly reports to support the overall business health, including metric reconciliations with customer.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for all contractual metrics and metric reconciliation activities
Expedite supply to support customer requirements through all levels of the supply chain
Responsible for backlog burndown through coordination of activities with 3PL, USG customer and Bell personnel as needed to support daily activities
Work order issue resolution and coordinate responses that address customer’s needs Analyze DLA daily file to proactively find demand fluctuations not reflected in Bell’s demand forecast
Support forecast accuracy by analyzing demand patterns to identify potential supply shortfalls
Responsible for material allocation management and release to satisfy customer requirements
Responsible for excess material identification, root cause analysis, and disposition of excess material
Manage failed/rejected customer order requisitions – provide resolution feedback to customer
Work with engineering, contracts, program, and COEs to support configuration changes, material supersessions, substitutions, and obsolescence issues
Analyze demand requirements at FRC locations and submit request for material replenishments
Track and document data to support performance review meetings with internal & external customers
Communicate high dollar order cancellations to appropriate COEs to prevent excess
Additional key tactical responsibilities for this position include reviewing tactical supply planning, system generated allocation, and management of intra-company material transfers
Develop systems and procedures required to support contract and inventory level objectives
