JOB SUMMARY:
To install components of electrical and electronics systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Works from airplane orders, inspection records, standard shop practices, oral and written instructions to install a variety of components for standard and option electrical and electronic systems.
a.Installs wire bundles, radios, instruments, speakers, switches, lights and othercomponents.
II. Functional tests partial systems using some standard test equipment such as continuity lights and volt-ohmmeters. Learns to perform more complicated tests of entire systems.
III. Uses a variety of hand tools to install, adjust and replace components according to standard shop practices.
IV.Responsible for the quality of own work.
V. Performs other related duties as required.
