We are a growing and exciting unit called the API Engineering Factory that own full-stack technology development across a number of strategic integration platforms and products. We are building a team of creative, likeminded technology enthusiasts who have the skills and capabilities to deliver industry leading software solutions to meet the current and future needs of a market leading Digital Relationship Bank. We have fully embraced ways of working such as scaled agile, DevOps and CI/CD in a highly collaborative team environment.
You will be responsible for supporting the development and maturity of our Agile Engineering Capability through facilitating and guiding the work of the Agile Teams in managing the Release Train and ensuring we deliver on our commitments.

Key Accountabilities
- Supporting and driving our transition to multi-disciplined release teams and the embedding of new tooling and technology capabilities within the Engineering Factory
- Managing and optimising the flow of value through the Agile Release Train
- Reviewing and driving improvements in the way we report and manage activity across the teams
- Establishing and communicate the cyclical calendars for Iterations and Program Increments
- Facilitating Programme Increment planning readiness
- Summarize Team PI objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency across our multi-vendor teams
- Assist tracking the execution of features and stories
- Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature estimation by teams and the roll-up to Capabilities & Epics, where necessary
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mind-sets
- Helping manage risks and dependencies
- Providing input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
- Encouraging collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering
- Working with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
- Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement within the release train
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a scaled agile framework
- Experience in maturing Agile methodologies across large multidiscipline teams
- Experience of coaching leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mind-sets
- Experience facilitating large planning events (PI) by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, Backlogs
Desirable Qualifications
- SAFe or other industry recognised agile certifications
