Basic Job Functions:

The Material Handler is to receive, transport and identify materials raw and in process. The incumbent is routinely exposed to mill, heat treat, and cutting conditions including but not limited to dust, grease, noise, heat and cold.

  • Operate forklift and combi
  • Operate overhead crane
  • Store material from welding department
  • Maintain storage area
  • Identify and report all non-conforming materials
  • Perform all duties as directed by supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Move hazardous/non-hazardous and flammable materials to the RCRA area
  • Spot check finished materials for visible defects
