Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting initial preparation and maintenance all of the Company’s external reporting documents including the following:
  • Required SEC filings, including XBRL-compliant Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.
  • Earnings press release and supplemental information
  • Work closely with the Accounting Department and Finance Department to coordinate the delivery of key historical and projected information contained in public reports
  • Perform diligent and detailed reviews of the documents for clerical accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency of the information across documents
  • Review completeness and accuracy of tie-out packages prepared by accounting to serve as the support and audit trail for information contained in public reports

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 2+ years of accounting and reporting experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with WebFilings/Wdesk/Workiva is essential
  • CPA is a plus
  • Real estate background is a plus
  • Must have a general understanding of financial statements and related notes
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate the flow of data from multiple sources and aggregate into a combined financial reporting platform, while maintaining an understanding of the data “point of entry” and subsequent flow to multiple locations in multiple reports
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual who works well under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Experience with JD Edwards and Oracle Essbase is a plus
