We are currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Manages the overall operation of a wholesale and retail counter including hiring, discipline, and scheduling of employees to ensure cost effective and quality counter operations
- Monitors the merchandising, organization and appearance of the wholesale and retail counter
- Effectively and professionally resolves escalated complaints regarding products, wholesale and retail purchases and customer service
- Approves volume discounts and pricing adjustments and resolves pricing discrepancies with customers
- Trains associates on product specifications, merchandising, counter organization and wholesale and retail sales
- Develops new wholesale and retail customers through direct advertising and promotional campaigns
- Participates in leadership meetings and represents operational concerns, policies and guidelines to the management team
Qualifications
- Local market knowledge is preferred
- Prior experience in sales
- Leadership skills
- Ability to handle numerous customers simultaneously
- Ability to work with and analyze numbers
- Communication skills (oral and written)
- Organization and time management skills
