Sr Solutions Engineer

Cadence Design Full Time United States Engineering

Description :

  • Execute and deliver on EM/IR analysis & IR aware ECO flows and ensure integrity of delivered solutions.
  • Support customer design teams for Voltus solutions/bug fixes
  • Define and refine the methodologies /flows for gate-level and transistor level designs.
  • Efficiently translate customer requirements into tool solutions by working closely with R&D
  • Explore and define new in-design flows  by working with various in-house technology teams
  • Deliver technical trainings and seminars within Cadence and customer sites.

Key Job Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of expertise in Power Grid Analysis/Planning ( IR/EM Analysis)
  • Knowledgeable in several of the following tools – Voltus / VoltusFI, RedHawk / RedHawk-SC, Totem
  • Strong programming skills in any of the following languages: Perl, TCL, Python, C/C++
  • Basic knowledge of Physical Design  (Place and Route), Timing Analysis, Extraction, Spice Simulations
  • Knowledge of package modelling and analysis
