•Scope and strategic fit – English/Tech Pubs/Communications student or Business student with strong writing skills interested in exploring writing/editing roles in a technical/semiconductor company- Intern will work directly with Editing and Content Services team, but will also interact with creative/brand marketing, field/demand marketing, PR, integrated marketing, executive/employee comms, and web/digital marketing teams- Intern will focus on creating Marketing Content Information Architecture document/templates, which will assist with transitioning Corporate Marketing’s text-based deliverables from in-house job system to Jira- Intern will also assist with small writing and editing tasks to get an idea of what those roles involve•Expected actionable deliverables- Marketing Content Information Architecture document:- – Pull collateral-related text content from the old Brand Guidelines document to discover if descriptions or audiences need to be updated, if anything is missing (webinars), add new types, etc. – – Work with Editor and various groups to check and update content (e.g., Field Marketing should check events content)- – Work with Creative team to reuse screenshots from the new Brand Guidelines and identify where new ones need to be created- – Work with Creative team and Writers to develop a Word template for each type of collateral- – Work with Creative team to format overall document in the new brand style- Work with Editor to edit presentations, emails, etc to get a “taste” of editing- Work with Writers to write blog posts, etc to get a “taste” of writing
