What to do:
- The position of DWH developer is open in the ETL team of the Big Data Directorate
- Our stack: Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Greenplum
- At the moment, we have several Greenplum DBMS clusters with a total capacity of over 100 terabytes and a Hadoop cluster with a total capacity of 6 petabytes.
- The DWH development / development team is responsible for loading data from the Hadoop cluster into the Greenplum DBMS. Building the main storage layers using the data modeling method – Data Vault. Testing architectural hypotheses in practice and developing proposals for the choice of tools for the most efficient implementation of tasks.
- The result of our work is a stable working storage that meets the needs of customers and the technical trends of the time.

- In our team you have to:
- Design and development of data flows using ETL / ELT tools;
- Implementation of custom transformations;
- Design and construction of prototypes, showcases;
- Performance analysis, scaling of existing systems;
- Optimization of SQL queries and database structures;
- Development of procedures in PL / pgSQL;
- Development of DWH architecture, analysis and selection of optimal technologies, methodologies, tools;
- Creation and updating of a knowledge base for DWH users;
- Monitoring the work of external contractors.
Our candidate:
- Higher technical education;
- Experience with PostgreSQL at least 1 year;
- Knowledge of ANSI SQL: 2008 and database basics;
- Experience in query optimization, writing stored procedures, triggers;
- Experience with any industrial ETL tool: SAS DIS, Informatica PowerCenter, Data Stage, ODI, SSIS;
- Knowledge of the basics of the architecture of operating systems of the Linux family;
- Knowledge of the basics of working with version control systems;
- Understanding the abbreviations DWH, BI, ETL, MPP, OLAP, OLTP and what is hidden behind them)
