Compliance Officer – Financial Sanctions (f / m / x)

The Financial Sanctions Compliance Department, an organizational unit within the compliance department of the RBI Group, is responsible for carrying out the group management and control function with regard to the implementation of financial sanctions, the prevention of terrorist financing and sensitive transactions. To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a committed, IT-savvy Financial Sanctions Officer interested in sanctions law.

What she expects:

  • You will support the implementation of financial sanctions within the RBI Group
  • You will support the development, implementation and optimization of the corporate policy of the RBI Group in connection with financial sanctions, the prevention of terrorist financing and the EU money transfer regulation
  • You analyze data, payment flows and customer behavior,
  • They monitor transactions in real time and ex-post from the point of view of sanctions and money laundering prevention, and support you in reporting
  • They support the optimization of processes with a focus on E2E procedures, efficiency, transparency and standardization.
  • They carry out internal controls
  • They support the rollout of the standards in the RBI Group units  
  • You will identify new working methods and technologies for the activities of the department and the area

What to bring:

  • You have an education with a focus on banking, business law, European law and have already gained initial work experience in a bank and have knowledge of banking products, processes and IT tools
  • You have a sound understanding of IT and are open to current developments and challenges in the banking sector (digitization, AI),
  • You are open to new forms of work (agile, adaptive, open space …)
  • You are business fluent in both English and German
  • You are a team player with a strong willingness to learn
  • You are proactive and have high communication, problem solving and conflict management skills and can work under pressure
  • Occasion-related willingness to travel
