Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

  • Undertaking sample preparation
  • Performing instrument calibrations
  • Perform Environmental Chemistry and Radio-Analytical testing using conventional and modern technologies
  • Ensure equipment and laboratory is kept clean and tidy

Qualifications

To ensure success in this role, you will need to understand the general laboratory operation procedures, safety and quality requirements. You will also have:

  • Experience in LSC and Gamma Spectrometry for Radioanalytical testing or ICP-MS, ICP-OES, GC-MS/MS, LC, LC-MS/MS for Chemistry analysis is highly desirable
  • Hold appropriate tertiary qualification, at minimum a TAFE certification
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Self-motivated
  • A team player with the ability to work autonomously
