B3 Group is seeking a skilled Project Analyst/B3 Analyst that has experience in the analysis of IT business and information environment, activities, and events. This candidate must be detailed oriented and maintain multiple tracking tools for order processing.
As a B3 Analyst, you will effectively understand project data to create an overall assessment while considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns. A B3 Analyst will be able to identify trends and errors. They will be able to review data and have strong report writing skills. They will work with customers, users and project leads in analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting IT business applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with team leads to pull data for metric reporting
- Track multiple reporting deadlines and coordinate their delivery with team leads to gather input
- Coordinate the completion of data-driven grading of release health and providing feedback to development teams based on the scoring
- Analyze KPIs to understand project health and determine project needs
- Enter data from multiple sources into a measurement spreadsheet and use the outputs to create internal and customer-facing reports
- Direct the team leads in analyzing/suggesting/fine-tuning project metrics
- Attend meetings and take detailed notes, following up with any owners of action items
- Support team leads as needed, include documenting risks/mitigation strategies, sending out meeting invites/agendas, reviewing documentation, and creating presentations
In order to be successful in this position, we expect you to have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree; business, communications, English (or similar) backgrounds preferred
- 2-4 years of experience
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Editing and formatting experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS tools
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and collaborative work ethic
- Ability to obtain a favorable Public Trust Background Investigation
Desired Experience
- Experience using Office 365
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Prior experience working with VA or other federal organizations a plus
