Origin Energy is seeking three Business Development Manager’s to join the Energy Solutions team. We have major office locations in Melbourne & Sydney and will consider all applications from these locations. The BDM Energy Solutions role will be solely dedicated to providing a suite of products either in pilot or post launch to Energy customers. This is to add value and further cement the relationship between Origin and the customer so as to bring the most value from the customers energy consumption and better understanding of their usage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being the Origin advocate to the customer by educating them about Origin Energy Solutions to either offer these solutions or place customers on product trials.
- Be accountable for delivery of Solutions Sales and profit targets.
- Be the expert and trusted advisor when it comes to understanding the whole suite of products available and making informed recommendations to customers on how to bring about additional value to their product offering.
- Understand and successfully manage objection handling with the view to sharing the learnings with both the team and the wider business.
- Collaborate with other departments in the business to champion new products and ensure business units are also across the various product offerings.
- Revisit the customer portfolio with a view to upsell or add products at later stage.
IS THIS YOU?
- B2B sales experience working with a complex product offering or specifically suite of solutions
- Experience selling energy efficiency products in a similar organisation
- Stakeholder management skills at both operational and senior levels
- Experience working collaboratively with different stakeholders to deliver great solutions to customers and for Origin.
- Understand the financial principles, including (P&L’s, ROI and NPV’s) in order to explain how solutions can add value to the customer’s business
