ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Developer with Origin, you will be a key member of the Digital Delivery Team and responsible for building and maintaining the Origin Retail digital platforms and applications as part of a cross functional squad. You’ll be involved through the whole application delivery lifecycle and support the platform in production.
Responsibilities include
- Software analysis, design and development
- Quality Assurance through test automation and test-driven development
- CI/CD: continuous integration and continuous deployment through automation of builds and deployment scripts
- DevOps: Operational support of the platforms in production
- Thought leadership on the tools, processes, technologies through active involvement in Guilds
- Being a key member of the cross-functional delivery team and working effectively with BA, Iteration Managers, Developers, QA, Cloud Engineers, UX, Product Owners

You’ll need to be able to be a thought leader and work collaboratively with the other team members, communicate effectively with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders and peers, have the insight and appetite to innovatively grow Origin’s customer base through awesome digital solutions
More about you
- Demonstrated experience with React framework
- Strong knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
- Demonstrated experience with Java and related frameworks (such as Spring / Spring Boot) Experience with automation test frameworks such as Geb/Spock, Selenium Webdriver, JMeter, Test Café
- Experience automating UI testing
- Understanding of the Agile software development methodology
- Working knowledge of Kotlin highly desirable
