The team deliver process excellence and increased customer satisfaction through the creation of innovative pricing strategies, the roll out of the global pricing tools and the use of analytics to positively influence continuous improvement in pricing capability for the group.

Some wider context… our Global Strategic Pricing team partners with Global Sales Operations team (GSO) to deliver the roadmap for a strategic pricing tool called Configure Price Quote (CPQ). The purpose of this role is to support the Global Strategic Pricing team across multiple projects acting as a key liaison between Strategic Pricing, GSO and the business stakeholders to determine and deliver the business requirements.
What you’ll be tasked with:
- To support the pricing evaluation process – being accountable for stakeholder interviews, process and governance reviews and provision of insightful data analysis.
- Assist the pricing review process to provide recommendations for improvement in pricing capability.
- Assist in documenting newly agreed pricing strategies and creating requirements for the implementation of CPQ. This includes supporting the development of a modelling tool to capture the expected behaviour and corresponding pricing records.
- Ensuring the CPQ tool is delivered in line with requirements, without bugs and within outlined timescales.
- Support the team in Process improvement Initiatives.
- Manage efficient flow of correspondence and action tracking.
- Responsibility for internal systems administration and communication forums.

Here’s what we’re ideally looking for:
- Degree holder, or equivalent standard, with a high mathematical content e.g. Mathematics, Statistics
- A commercially focused, inquisitive and analytical mindset.
- Ability to collate challenging information from multiple sources and deducing valuable analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Strong systems skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ambitious self-starter committed to own continuous development.
