Description
Will serve as Compliance Liaison to Commercial and Medical Affairs field personnel. Will support compliant interactions between field personnel, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and other customers through appropriate training and communication of policies, procedures and other requirements. Will assist field personnel in learning to identify potential risks and respond appropriately. In addition, will serve as a core member of the Compliance team, and represent Compliance on teams and committees related to field activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as advisor and primary point of contact between Compliance and field-based personnel in Commercial functions (Sales, Managed Markets) and Medical functions (MSLs).
Assist field personnel and managers in issue review/resolution; escalate matters to VP Compliance,
as appropriate.
Collaborate with colleagues in other support functions (including Sales Operations, Sales Training, and IT) to ensure compliant and timely roll-out of training programs and other initiatives.
Represent Compliance during product launch activities and/or integration of new products.
Maintain library of Compliance policies, SOPs, Compliance Field Manual, and Code of Conduct, and conduct periodic review/updates of same. Support annual Conflict of Interest (COI) activities.
Develop, deliver, and track metrics for Compliance training activities; conduct periodic review of, and make updates to, Compliance training curriculums in Learning Management System (LMS).
Engage in live and virtual monitoring of field-driven activities and data, including but not limited to: ride-alongs, speaker programs, field communications, Medical Information Requests (MIRs).
Support Aggregate Spend Specialist in review of field-based transfers of value (TOVs) to HCPs.
Support the VP Compliance in additional activities, as requested, such as the company’s
Annual Global Compliance Week and other special projects.
Travel expected to be approximately 10 percent – domestic.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s degree is required for this role.
4 plus years of experience in providing compliance advice, compliance training, and/or sales training to pharmaceutical/biotech companies, or in a similar role at a pharmaceutical/biotech company.
Familiarity with regulatory industry standards and regulations.
Capable of developing and curating content that is compelling, relevant, and grounded in stakeholder understanding and insights.
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and technology. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and/or training technology.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Takes initiative to design content that supports the organization’s strategies and objectives and positions the learning experience with participants by building relationships and setting the climate.
Anticipates continuous improvement needs based on participant feedback.
Provides exemplary customer service by acting as a learning consultant to participants
Ability to think big picture yet get involved in the details.
