We have a unique opportunity to join the business in a newly created position as an experienced Product Manager within the Tools & Accessories division, working across a great range of brands.
Your key duties and responsibilities:
Discover and leverage user insights that will improve existing products and expose new product and technology opportunities.
Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape to guide new product development and range assortment.
Effectively manage product costing and retail pricing for the portfolio and identify ways to improve costs and drive sales & profitability for TTI.
Maintain an understanding sales trends, drivers, and external influences.
Develop new products and features that constantly seek to improve the customer experience.
Deliver product roadmaps on time, cost, and critical to quality in-line with strategic plans and priorities, as assigned.
Negotiating and influencing key stakeholders (internal and external) to achieve a common goal and optimal results.
About you:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing large / high growth product portfolios, Sales experience and technical or industry experience would also be beneficial.
Proven track record of success developing many new products from concept through production.
Demonstrate strong data and financial literacy and a proven ability to deliver winning strategies from conception to execution.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with an ability to translate technical language into customer facing language.
Proficient in Excel with the ability to analyse and manipulate data (ie. Pivot tables, complex graphs, v-lookups, & basic Macros).
Proficient in PowerPoint with the ability to develop clear, engaging, presentations.
Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation and time management with the ability to adapt to changing priorities timelines to deliver desired outcomes.
A successful track record in negotiating successful outcomes and issue resolution.
Ability to influence people and encourage them to work enthusiastically for a common goal.
