About the opportunity
We have a unique opportunity to join the business as a Head of Product within the Power Tools division. In this position you will act as the strategic planner of product and innovation development for respective categories. In addition, you will be responsible for leading, nurturing and developing a high-performing Product Management & Product Experience team.
Reporting to the General Manager Power Tools, your key responsibilities will include:
Lead product team to continually discover and leverage user insights to improve existing products and expose new product and technology opportunities.
Maximise product costs and retail pricing opportunities to improve sales & profitability for both TTI and its retail partners.
Work with account team to understand sales trends, drivers, and external influences.
Lead product team to deliver product roadmaps on time, cost, and critical to quality in-line with strategic plans.
Support the Head of Accounts in budget and business planning process.
Prioritize product roadmaps in-line with competitive landscapes and resources.
Lead product experience team and develop both short term tactical and long-term strategic product experience plans.
Align product & technology roadmaps with global teams and develop product synergies where possible.
Refine and develop business processes to further improve product development and lifecycle management.
Support account team with activities to ensure retail partner (Bunnings) commitments are delivered.
Manage the employee’s life cycle, including but limited to, performance reviews, development opportunities, check ins and continuous support.
About you
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing large / high growth product portfolios, Sales experience and technical or industry experience would also be beneficial.
Proven track record of success developing many new products from concept through production.
Demonstrate strong data and financial literacy and a proven ability to deliver winning strategies from conception to execution.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Demonstrates a high degree of stakeholder management and presenting both internally and externally.
