Aftersales Marketing Manager

Mitsubishi Motors North America is looking for an Aftersales Marketing Manager to join our Aftersales Parts team. As an Aftersales Marketing Manager, you will develop, implement, and manage parts and service marketing/programs/promotions/strategies to improve parts and accessory sales penetration, dealer sales performance, branding, and achievement of MMNA and dealer parts and service sales objectives.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

Lead the development and implementation of content, and design of support materials for sales initiatives for all parts and accessories, including incentives, advertising support and reporting for retail and field

Develop and implement our Co Op program driving successful utilization and results to our business

Ensure Aftersales is in regular communication and supporting key intercompany departments particularly, Sales, Marketing, and Product Planning

Lead Aftersales communication efforts with our Dealers and Field creating a one team approach to our objectives and goals

Manage and report results of MMNA Aftersales programs and promotions. Make recommendations to upper management based on findings

Ensure Aftersales incentive programs are compliant to rules, have timely and accurate updates, awards and payout, and that we have coordination with vendors and finance for tax and/or other corporate accounting matters

Manage key relationships with vendors including addressing concerns and identifying growth opportunities and programs

Effectively manage direct reports by providing clear direction, coaching and prioritizing work assignments so they are completed accurately and on time. Provide opportunities for staff growth and development, and address employee performance issues in a timely manner.

Research and analyze different methods and programs for improving parts and accessories sales penetration at MMNA dealers. Provide input to management on findings and improvement strategies for consideration.

Act as liaison between parts and service department functions to ensure coordination of sales efforts. Collaborate with corporate and field personnel to achieve MMNA KPIs.

Work effectively within and calmly respond to highly stressful business situations.

Regular attendance at work on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours daily, and 40 hours weekly.

Other duties as assigned or required.

What you’ll have:

 

5 – 8 years wholesale and/or retail automotive experience as OEM marketing/sales, District Sales/Service/Parts Manager or in Fixed Operations Marketing/Sales, or other regional or national sales/marketing positions.

BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior parts or other OEM marketing/sales development experience.

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

Ability to meet deadlines, while producing quality results.

Ability to isolate problems and develop solutions in a timely manner.

Ability to thrive in cross-functional environment.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Prior sales management experience preferred

Must be able to travel domestically occasionally.

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and MMNA-approved driving record..
