We have an opportunity for an Accountant (Fixed Term Contract) as part of the accounting team in our London office in one of our key European locations.
- Responsible for day-to-day and general accounting activities for two of our UK based group entities
- Quarter-end closing and group reporting processes, including closing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assisting with the interim and year-end audit process
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Assisting in the annual budgeting process
- Identifying areas within the accounting process for potential improvements
- Ensuring adherence to internal controls – locally

The role is based in the City of London and will be offered on a ten month fixed term to cover maternity leave (from July 2021 onwards).
The ideal candidate will be a newly/recently qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant financial accounting experience.
Furthermore, you must have an accurate, diligent and independent working style and a strong desire to learn and succeed. Good communication skills are required, as well as MS-Office knowledge. Experience in dealing with stakeholders in different geographical locations would be a plus.
