Junior Fund Controller

What it’s about

Partners Group’s Product Controlling team is seeking to hire a Junior Fund Controller to grow it’s footprint in Denver. The role will encompass two primary responsibilities: preparing and reviewing the net asset values and financial statements of our global private equity funds and supporting business improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review Net Asset Values and Financial Statements prepared by external partners and internal accounting teams
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of SEC and other regulatory deliverables   
  • Actively support team projects to continually adapt to industry leading business requirements
  • Proactively integrate and promote collaboration across teams
  • Encourage challenging and constructive dialogue with team members and all internal and external stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes  

What we expect

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, preferably with a professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACCA)
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting, controlling or financial audit functions; experience in private markets fund accounting is a plus
  • Detail oriented, organized and self-motivated
  • Responsible, accountable and adaptable
  • Ability to integrate within a fast-paced, dynamic and diverse global team

  • Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $56k – 70k and typically and a significant performance-based bonus are part of the total compensation package.
