What it’s about
Partners Group’s fund financing team is responsible for developing innovative, externally sourced, financing solutions for Partners Group’s investment structures and funds. Fund financing professionals within the treasury and execution business unit regularly interact with the firm’s investment and operations teams as well as with lenders and external professionals. Representative projects include, for example, the negotiation and establishment of subscription-backed credit facilities, negotiation and implementation of bespoke investment specific financing solutions, implementation of credit facilities for evergreen investment structures and implementation of letters of credit.
- Efficiently manage complex fund financing projects
- Lead complex negotiations of term sheets (commercial and legal terms) with multiple lenders simultane-ously
- Draft and/or review facility agreements, security documentation and constituent documents relating to investment structures
- Advise on the establishment of transaction structures to facilitate financing solutions
- Provide timeous feedback to external legal advisors and other service providers and coordinate with them for in-house training and knowledge sharing
- Design and implement innovative financing solutions
- Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders and service providers
- Participate in handover meetings
- Support business development efforts (presentations, client meetings, etc.)
- Contribute to building and enhancing relationships with lenders, law firms and industry peers, liaising with them regularly in respect of his/her area(s) of expertise, organizing training, etc.
- Support team and department initiatives by proactively identifying areas for improvement and/or seeking to enhance existing processes, providing innovative ideas and delivering results
- Think outside-of-the-box, creatively finding solutions with lenders for the benefit of our PG platform and discussing them with senior colleagues
- Demonstrate strong people and leadership potential, conducting interviews and introduction and training sessions
- Guide Junior Professionals, allowing them to excel in their daily work
- Qualified professional with around 7 years of relevant work experience in a law firm, bank or asset management firm
- Top academic credentials in law, business administration or finance
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with strong desire to learn and succeed
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and project management skills to manage multiple projects at any one time

- Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $71k – 102k and typically a significant performance-based bonus, equity and carry are part of the total compensation package.
