We are now inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals for the rare opportunity to join our Wixom, Michigan-based Sales Team in the role of Sales Associate specifically responsible for supporting our professional Account Managers in robot and system sales across a mix of industry sectors.

DEFINITION (POSITION PURPOSE)

The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting Account Managers in their sales efforts of Kawasaki robotic systems and products to targeted customers and channel partners.  This person will also develop and implement action plans and strategies, assisting Kawasaki management with business forecasting and reporting.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Attend Kawasaki robot product and sales training sessions
  • Prepare and organize Robot and System cost estimates and proposals
  • Support Order Entry and order tracking processes
  • Maintain and update the Kawasaki CRM system database
  • Report sales activities to Kawasaki management on a regular basis
  • Assist with estimation and forecast of potential robot and system sales quarterly
  • Investigate and report competitive activity and trends
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and company focus
  • Continually upgrade and maintain knowledge of robot and systems technology
  • Attend trade shows and support Kawasaki Marketing activities

REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business or Engineering
  • Must have the potential to become a Key Account Manager sales professional
  • Must have high energy and strong commitment to work for results
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to manage the entire sales process efficiently
  • Candidates will be computer literate and a fluent user of communication technology
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Detail oriented and focus on accuracy is critical
  • Preferred 2-3 years’ experience in industrial business and/or applications engineering
