Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar. If not admitted to Virginia bar, must be eligible for admission as Virginia Corporate Counsel
- 7+ years of relevant experience in private practice, in-house or with a relevant regulatory agency
- A thorough understanding of, and demonstrable experience with, litigation and dispute resolution in U.S. federal and state courts
- The ability to gain a thorough understanding of the DNS ecosystem and its unique contractual, regulatory, policy and technical limitations
- Excellent and demonstrable written and oral communications skills
- The ability to deal with ambiguous situations
- The ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels in the Company
- The ability to lead specific long-term, cross-functional projects as directed by the litigation team leaders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience analyzing and applying federal and state laws and corporate policies to third-party litigation and discovery compliance
- Experience managing compliance and production in response to legal process
- Experience with employment issues
- Experience with cybersecurity issues
- Experience with intellectual property issues
- Experience within the DNS ecosystem
