What is the SMA – PAG Group responsible for?
- The Separately Managed Accounts Portfolio Analytics Group is responsible for the trading, implementation, and model delivery of Separately Managed Account strategies.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Portfolio Analyst?
- Portfolio Analyst should ensure investment management and trading decisions are implemented accurately at the individual portfolio level for applicable strategies within SMA.
- Responsible for investment guideline compliance, executing client directed activity, (i.e. deposits, withdrawals, and tax requests) and review and maintenance of portfolios.
- Assist with allocations and trade settlement for SMA’s Fixed Income strategies.
- Work closely with the model-delivery strategies, ensuring models are delivered to sponsors accurately and on a timely basis.
What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
- This position must have 1-3 years of financial industry work or experience in trading Separately Managed Accounts.
- Individual must have experience with automated financial systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently, but also collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
