Job Description
This RF Design Validation/Testing Co-Op will support RF test evaluation of RFIC’s and multichip modules. Require strong back ground in RF and Microwave design. Knowledgable in RF testing and RF equipment setup. Needs to be proficient in Matlab. Good data summary and presentation skills are desired. Perform RF Test, evaluate, summarize, and present data to design engineers. The person shoud understand RF parameters and be able to communicate effectively. The Co-op will also be involved in design evaluation, simulation and debugging of RF switches, Filters, Couplers, PA’s, LNA’s and FEM’s.
Must have the ability to work full-time as a Co-Op during the Fall Co-Op Term which runs from July 2021 to Dec 2021
Job Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering MS (preferred) or PhD program, and must be returning to school after the completion of this Co-Op (will not consider graduated students)
- Strong background in RF and Microwave design
- Proficient in Matlab
- Knowledge in RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.)
- RFIC Design and Simulation experience will be a plus
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience in using RF equipment such as oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources
